Inspired by the glacial and basalt landscapes of Iceland and the geometric force of architecture that is the Harpa concert hall in Reykjavík, clad in sheets of colored glass. Designed and fabricated in collaboration with Soda Ash & Sand.

Amber Droste of Soda Ash & Sand works from her studio in Chattanooga, TN. Her work as a stained glass artist is a culmination of study in painting and art history with degrees from Pratt Institute in New York, Washington University in St. Louise and study abroad at the Art Institute of Florence in Italy. Her foray into stained glass work began nearly a decade ago while working for highly respected studios in Boston and Colorado. The studio specializes in design, restoration and fabrication and while working on several large scale commercial projects as well as innovating designs for residential use, Amber's work is timeless and modern at the same time.
